Tulips galore!
Working with children can be a wonderful and rewarding experience. At this international school, I and a few others, took the chance to encourage and promote learning out-of-doors. The Pollinator's Math Garden was created to enhance the front of a wonderful facility adding to it for marketing purposes, but more importantly as a learning space. This space was rarely used in the past, but now that has changed. A meeting point for the Elementary School Community before and after school, it is visited by many students who like to see their efforts grow. The Second Grade classes planted the tulips, and other scented plants. Roses and topiary were supported by the parent group and commemorate all those who have been a part of this community over the past four decades.
